Mary South

Mary South is a Phil Bolger design 40 foot mini-expedition trawler built in 1990 by Melville Traber in Dayville Connecticut.  It has recently experienced a complete refit and overhaul of the entire vessel at Clinton Yacht Haven, Clinton, CT and is operating in the waters of Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River with Salt Marsh Tours www.saltmarshtours.com.

Accommodations

Pilot House

The pilot house includes reverse raked windows with ideal visibility of the decks fore and aft.  It has mahogany trim throughout with a large chart table and chart drawers and a comfortable settee.

Main Salon

The main salon is a spacious cabin midship with 14 inch portholes and a butterfly hatch custom built by Scarano Boat Building in Albany New York to provide ample light and a gas fireplace for warmth and
